Contact export to CSV

Export VCF Contacts to a CSV Spreadsheet

Create a reviewable spreadsheet from a contact-file export while keeping names, numbers, and email addresses in the local browser workflow.

This path is useful after exporting contacts as VCF or vCard from another application. ContactCraft creates a simple CSV with one row per parsed record so you can inspect the data, sort it, or prepare it for a spreadsheet-based process.

contact-export.vcf → preview → contacts.csv · Name · First Name · Last Name · Email · Phone · Organization · Address

Export contacts to CSV

Export workflow

  1. Obtain a VCF/vCard file from the contact system you already use.
  2. Select it in ContactCraft and wait for the local parse.
  3. Review the preview and validation message for incomplete records.
  4. Select CSV spreadsheet and download the result for your own review.

What is included

Common name components, the first email, the first phone, organization, and a flattened address can appear in the fixed CSV columns. The output is designed to make ordinary contact records easier to inspect, not to reproduce every vendor-specific property.

Privacy and limitations

Contact lists are sensitive because they can expose relationships, phone numbers, and email addresses. ContactCraft performs this conversion in the browser and does not use a remote contact API. Still, verify the file before sharing it and remember that your browser’s local download history and device storage are outside the converter’s control.

Multiple email or phone values, notes, photos, groups, custom labels, URLs, and other unsupported properties may be omitted. The standard tool does not deduplicate or clean the source. Plus provides local duplicate review, merge, cleanup, mapping, and validation reports.

FAQ

Can I export a CSV directly from any contact application?

ContactCraft’s input path here is VCF or vCard. If your source offers only another format, export or convert it to a supported contact file first.

Will it preserve the order of contacts?

The parser processes records in file order, but review the downloaded CSV before relying on ordering for a downstream workflow.

Does exporting to CSV delete or change the source VCF?

No. The converter reads the selected file and creates a separate download.
