Local converter processing
Supported converter pages process selected file contents locally in your browser. They are designed not to upload file contents. The converter pages do not load analytics or advertising trackers unless this notice is updated.
Ordinary web data
Hosting and network providers may process ordinary request metadata and logs, such as an IP address, request time, URL, user agent, and error information, to operate and secure the site.
Checkout and licensing
Paddle processes checkout and payment information separately, including information needed for payment, tax, fraud prevention, and receipts. Once licensing is enabled, LocalFile Tools may process an email address, Paddle transaction information, entitlement records, activation records, and limited device/installation hashes for activation and verification. Converter pages do not send opened files to Paddle or the licensing service.
Local browser storage
The browser may store free-use status and signed license information locally. You can remove this information through your browser’s site-data controls or the license management page. Removing local data does not necessarily revoke a remote entitlement.
Contact and forms
Contact and refund forms may process your name, email address, product and plan, transaction or receipt identifier, message content, and request metadata needed for security and delivery. Form information is sent to LocalFile Toolkit support, and the email-delivery provider may process it to deliver the submission. Do not submit confidential source files, card details, passwords, government IDs, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive data. Information is retained only as reasonably needed for support, fraud prevention, refunds, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
