Terms of use

These terms apply to LocalFile Tools and its independent products: LedgerConverzn, Format Fold, ContactCraft, CalendarFlow, and CaptionShift. They are a draft for operator and legal review until governing law and any other operator legal details are finalized. The official support contact is localfiletools.support@gmail.com.
Service and licenses
LocalFile Tools provides digital, browser-based file conversion software. Standard and Plus licenses, and the five-product bundle, are one-time purchases rather than recurring subscriptions; no automatic renewal is charged. A one-time license provides access to the purchased version and included features for as long as LocalFile Toolkit continues to operate and make the applicable product available. It does not guarantee that the website, service, browser compatibility, third-party integrations, or every feature will remain available indefinitely.
“Lifetime” means the supported commercial life of the applicable product, not the lifetime of the purchaser. The operator may discontinue a product or the website and will provide reasonable notice when practical. Discontinuation does not promise perpetual hosting. Refund rights remain subject to the refund policy, Paddle’s merchant-of-record process, and applicable law.
Acceptable use
You may use the software for lawful work and personal purposes. Do not use it to violate another person’s rights, distribute malicious content, interfere with the service, bypass licensing controls, or misrepresent converted files.
Your files and backups
You are responsible for having the right to use your source files, reviewing converted output, and keeping independent backups. Local processing does not replace your own backup, security, or records-management practices.
Compatibility limitations
Conversion support depends on the format, structure, browser, available memory, and destination software. No guarantee is made that every file, feature, metadata field, or format variant will convert correctly or be universally compatible.
Independent products and intellectual property
The five products are independent LocalFile Tools products. Product names, software, emblems, text, and other materials are owned by their respective rights holders or used with permission. QuickBooks and other third-party names remain the property of their owners; LocalFile Tools is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the software is provided on an “as available” basis, and LocalFile Tools will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited. Final limitation language requires legal review for the operator’s jurisdiction.
